Tutoring Description

Hello! I am a senior at BASIS Chandler who is passionate about math, music, and computer science. I have attended Kumon since pre-school until 9th grade. In the Kumon program, I completed level G (algebra) in 2nd grade. I have taken Algebra 1 and 2, Pre-Calc AB, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC during high school. I have also worked at Kumon, tutoring children of all ages in math and reading. I am passionate to tutor children and adaptable to what type of tutoring a child might require. For tutoring, I will first explain concepts of whatever topic the student is struggling with. I will then provide answers to their questions, and explain why the concept works as it does. Finally, I will go through some problem examples of the specific concept with them and answer any more questions the tutee might have.
