AMC 10 & 12 Review

These 3 sessions will serve as quick and thorough reviews of the content commonly seen on the AMC 10 and 12 math competitions which were developed in collaboration with a former AMC test writer. These reviews will through the standard topics including algebra, geometry, counting and probability, and number theory, as well as fundamental topics only on the AMC 12. Examples and similar test questions will ensure that participants gain a clear understanding of the topics. Students will also be provided slides to the questions covered in the session.

Presenters:  Alexander Chen and Dean Brasen

Alexander C. Chen is a sophomore from BASIS Chandler who has a history with high-level math competitions and has qualified for AIME. He has also led his team to win in the state for MathCounts. In general, Alex is passionate about all things math and physics-related!  

Dean Brasen is a sophomore from ACP Erie who has also competed in AMC 10, 12, and qualified for AIME. He also hosts a higher-level math class on PWR and has won numerous state-level math competions.
